Michael J. Feeley is a federal retirement and benefits expert. He has been providing retirement planning assistance helping federal employees transition into retirement to federal employees for over 20 years. His vast knowledge of the federal benefits systems and his understanding of complicated financial planning and risk management concepts has made him a sought after speaker and presenter for pre-retirement seminars, In-service training conferences, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
Mr. Feeley has given hundreds of retirement and benefit training seminars over the years on topics related to retirement and benefits for federal employees. Mr. Feeley was an instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA. He provided a valuable component to the overall training curriculum at both The Inspector General Academy, and the DOD-OIG (DCIS).
Throughout his career, he has contracted and conducted retirement and benefits training to many different agencies such as the (US Court System, Social Security Administration, TIGTA, Homeland Security, FBI, Department of Labor, HHS, DCIS, etc…)
In 2017, Mr. Feeley became certified in long term care insurance. He is contracted with the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program™ (FLTCIP) and gives presentations on long-term care insurance for federal employees, military, and retirees. He also represents FLTCIP and BENEFEDS at health fairs during the FEHB Open Season.
